The Ryan Foundation Supports Community Service with Donation to Least of My Brethren Fund

The Ryan Foundation has recently expressed its commitment to support community service by pledging a donation of $90,000 to the Least of My Brethren Fund, with the donations beginning in February 2023.

The Least of My Brethren Fund serves to encourage and manage charitable contributions that directly aid in meeting the current and future needs of individuals transitioning from homelessness. The Fund collects a variety of resources including furnishings, clothing, food, and bicycles to assist homeless individuals as they strive to establish a more stable life off the streets. The Fund's monthly expenses are directed towards gathering and storing these resources, repairing bicycles for transportation, aiding individuals during their transition into apartments, preparing meals, and providing breakfast for those in need.

The Fund is overseen by the Midlands Community Foundation, which manages more than 125 charitable funds. The Foundation's primary aim is to enhance the quality of life in Sarpy and Cass counties by promoting charitable giving and connecting donors with the community's needs, as well as educating them about these needs.
